EHDS Governance Mini‑Quiz

The EHDS Governance Mini‑Quiz is a short, open survey launched under the xShare project, which supports the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and the establishment of the future European Standards & Health Interoperability Alliance (ESHIA). The initiative aims to gauge awareness and understanding of the governance mechanisms introduced by the EHDS Regulation, compared with pre‑EHDS frameworks such as the eHealth Network and MyHealth@EU. It also explores perceptions of how governance structures—such as the EHDS Board, Health Data Access Bodies, and national authorities—will interact in practice.

The mini‑quiz is designed as a light, knowledge‑based self‑assessment taking less than three minutes to complete. Originally developed for members of the xShare Regulators Forum, it is now open to a broader audience across Europe to collect comparable insights from a wider pool of experts involved in public decision‑making, regulation, or policyrelated to digital health and health data.

The target audience includes representatives of Ministries of Healthnational or regional digital health agencies, and medicinal products or data protection authorities in the 27 EU Member States plus Norway, though individual respondents from other public bodies are also welcome. Responses are anonymous and will be analysed in aggregate to support research and policy dialogue on EHDS governance within the xShare project and beyond.
